Restricted Dumpster Materials with American Container LLC

When you rent a dumpster from American Container LLC in Baraboo, WI, and the surrounding areas, these are the rules and restrictions you must follow/ restricted items you may not place in the dumpster:

Substances hazardous to health

Substances hazardous to health, such as toxic or corrosive materials or liquids.

ANY liquids of any kind

ANY liquids of any kind, whether contained or not.

Containers (unless empty and crushed)

Cans, drums, or other containers of any kind, unless empty and crushed, are incapable of carrying any liquids.

Medical waste or animal carcasses

Medical waste or animal carcasses of any kind or quantity.

Material unsuitable for containment

Any other material not listed above, however, considered unsuitable for containment, e.g., malodorous waste, including but NOT limited to asbestos, paint, tires, gas bottles, fridges, freezers, TVs, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, vehicle batteries, computer monitors, liquids, and solvents.

Extremely weighty materials

Extremely weighty materials such as dirt, rock, or concrete. (Unless otherwise discussed with us previously)

Overfilling dumpster higher than the sides

Fill any dumpster higher than the top of the sides in such a manner as to prevent spillage of material from the refuse dumpster either while stationary or in transit.

Light fires in the dumpster.

Customers are responsible for any damages to the container other than normal wear and tear while it is in your possession.

Access and Ground Conditions

Please read the conditions carefully before renting our containers:

Responsibility for providing free and suitable access to and from the delivery site

The customer will be responsible for providing free and suitable access to and from the delivery site. (Including the removal and reinstatement of local obstructions) and ensuring suitable ground conditions for the dumpster delivery, placement, and disposal. No responsibility will be accepted for the damage to any surface, and you should, therefore, take steps to protect surfaces (e.g., paving slabs, soft ground) before delivery.

Responsibility for repairs of damage to structures other than container

Should the container cause damage to the concrete or asphalt during loading or unloading, American Container LLC is only responsible if it is due to our negligence. We have specifically identified the heavy containers that may cause damage and that the placement of the containers is the site manager’s responsibility in determining a suitable placement to minimize the site's exposure to this type of damage.

Failure to return container

Should the customer fail to return the container, American Container LLC maintains the right to enter the premises where the container may be without notice and take possession of and remove the container at the customer's expense, all without legal process, the customer hereby waving any claims for damages from any such entry, taking, or removal.
